Director’s Bio

​

김미 박사는 512project 대표로, 사용자 중심 공간 디자인에 집중하고 있습니다.

 

이화여자대학교 공간디자인 전공, 동 대학원에서 HCI와 사용자 연구로 박사학위를 받았습니다. 
미국 RISD(Rhode Island School of Design) 뉴미디어 프로그램과 Sotheby’s Institute of Art의 Art and its Markets 과정을 수료했습니다.

 

SAP Labs(미국 캘리포니아), 성균관대학교 CDI, 서울미디어대학원대학교, 512 Labs 등에서 공간설계 및 사용자 연구, 인터랙티브 설치 프로젝트 등 다수의 프로젝트를 기획, 관리했습니다. 
또한, 한국과학창의재단과 KISTEP에서 과학예술 융합 교육 프로그램 개발 및 서비스 디자인, 정책기획/평가, 사용자 연구를 했습니다. 

다수 대학에서 디자인과 UX 분야 강의를 했으며, 현재는 512project를 이끌고 있습니다.

Mee Kim is the founder and director of 512project, where she focuses on user-centered spatial design.
 

She holds a Ph.D. in HCI and user studies from Ewha Womans University,

where she also majored in Environmental Design.
She completed the New Media program at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and the Art and its Markets program at Sotheby’s Institute of Art.

 

She previously led user research and usability testing at SAP Labs in California,

and worked on service design and user experience modeling at CDI, Sungkyunkwan University.
At Seoul Media Graduate School University, she developed educational programs, and at 512 Labs, she led spatial design and interactive installation projects.
She also contributed to convergent service planning and user research at the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity and KISTEP.

 

Mee has lectured extensively on design and user experience at various universities, and currently leads 512project.
